MARTIAL CURRICULUM GM° ZHANG
Master Zhang Shaotang, vice president of the Wushu
Association of Langfang, Hebei Province, is the direct
fourth-generation heir of the Li School masters' dynasty.
In China, he is considered one of the greatest living
Taijiquan masters.
He has been practicing Wushu since childhood, under the
guidance of his father, 陳王廷 Zhang Wansheng, and possesses a
deep understanding of his art, making him a highly skilled Tai
Ji Quan practitioner.
He is one of the very few Grand Masters of Chinese martial
arts.
For over fifty years, Master Zhang has deeply studied both the
theory and practice of longevity arts, Taijiquan, and Chinese
martial arts.
His extensive and profound studies have led him to establish
strong connections between Dao, Yi Jing, Philosophy, Medicine,
the sources of spiritual power, Fine Arts, astronomy, and
geography.
He has demonstrated that Taijiquan is equivalent to the most
divine arts of human beings.
This allows us to understand and feel the expression of Dao.
When he applies Taijiquan in combat, he is as quick as
lightning; there is not even time to close one's eyes.
His strength is expressed so powerfully that it seems like
thunder crashing against a mountain.
This allows one to experience the great mystery of Tai Ji Quan
in a fraction of a second.
Taijiquan is a treasure of Chinese culture, and this treasure
is now a gift from China to the entire world.
